Confit of royal figs of Markopoulo with sesame and almond

An original recipe by our friend Betty lead to the inception of Figland. She combined

royal figs with sesame and almond. We added grape juice, in place of sugar, and thus created our first delicacy - A perfect combination with salty and spicy cheeses,

and an ideal accompaniment to yoghurt.
